Miguel has been involved in martial arts most of his life, as a kid he earned his black belt in Taek-won-do and also trained in various forms of Kung fu.
Miguel’s Phoenix journey began around 8 years ago.He started training in Muay- Thai for the first few years but eventually fell in love with the science of Boxing. Since discovering his passion for Boxing Miguel decided to make this his main focus at the gym. After years of hard training and dedication Miguel began coaching at Phoenix and has earned his level 1 accreditation in coaching with Boxing Australia. Miguel now coaches classes in Boxing at Phoenix and also offers personal training sessions at the gym.He strives to inspire and motivate each and every one of his students into being the best boxer they can be. Miguel will get you fit while at the same time help you perfect your Boxing techniques, all the way from basics and fundamentals to learning how to spar.
Miguel also has experience in cornering and helping prepare fighters for competition.
Phoenix Gym and the sport of Boxing has changed his life and Miguel hopes that each and every student he teaches can also gain these positive influences from the sport.
